ABOUT THE PROJECT

There is a special honor in being asked to design a returning client’s new homestead, especially when it is intended to be their Forever Home. 

The family’s desire to enjoy the entire yard was answered by planning for both active and passive uses. The new garden’s floor plan offers outdoor kitchen, dining, lounging, and water and garden amenities.

The 2100sf patio offers myriad opportunities: preparing and enjoying meals, reading in the walled garden, relaxing in the spa…these amenities, coupled with the garden beyond, allow the client to enjoy their entire Forever Home.

WATER FEATURE NIGHT LIGHTING

A patterned Lannonstone wall creates a private backdrop for the heated spa, featuring a sheer water weir pouring from between the wall’s mortar joints. Generous planting beds provide seasonal texture and softening between areas paved in bluestone.

REAR ILLUMINATION

At any hour, the gardens wait to be enjoyed—whether gazing into them from the home, or enjoying one of their amenities. The patios and yard provide a comprehensive setting for making many lasting memories.

OUTDOOR STONE KITCHEN

The outdoor kitchen houses cooking, refrigeration, and cabinetry within its Lannonstone surround. Meals with family and friends come alive at this fabulous entertaining space.
